Story One: The Lacy's
First to the stage is the story of Douglas and his wife Danielle. After nine years of marriage and a successful life, Danielle begins to see a change in her husband, Douglas. Now he’s late, when he’s never been late before. He doesn’t answer his cell phone and has excuses why he didn’t. And he’s always starting arguments with her. Her woman’s intuition tells her that Douglas is cheating, but her years of learning how to eavesdrop properly from her witty mother, Annie Lee, confirms his affair when she hears him on the phone… with her!

Story Two: The Sugar Daddy
Next, there's the story of Joe, a man that's looking for affection in all the wrong places. He's a 68 year-old widower, is now living in a senior citizen home. He’s always been charismatic, charming and a down right flirt. So when the loneliness settles in, he decides it’s time for him to start dating again, as he searches for the right one in the home, he can’t seem to find a woman with the one important attribute he needs… a woman with her own teeth! But when that pretty young thang comes to the home to visit her grandmother, Joe gets real sweet on her and decides it’s time for him to be a daddy… a Sugar daddy, that is.

Story Three: The Preacher's Kid
Last, there is the story of Stacy, an 18-year-old freshman in college. She's a beautiful and sweet "PK" (Preacher’s Kid). Her roommate Natalie, a sophomore, on the other hand, is an around-the-way, sassy, street-smart girl who likes to party. Through some coercing, Stacy is convinced to go to a college party. She’s never even been to a party before; the only thing she’s done that even comes close, is watching Soul Train when her parents were out. Her father has for the most part made all of her decisions for her and Stacy is feeling the urge to start making decisions on her own. At the party, Stacy is approached by a handsome grad student, Calvin, known on campus to be a dog. He invites her back to his apartment to listen to Jazz. Stacy decides that today is the day she is going to make her own choices. She chooses to go home with Calvin.
